Thanks to 5 discos and numerous bars and cafes, Alpe d’Huez is a great winter holiday destination for après ski! The "Avalanche Pub" or the "Tavern" with its live music are just the right places to party the night away after a long day on the slopes. If you’re up for some dancing you’ll love the "L’Igloo" and the "Sporting". But this resort isn’t only lively at night! You don’t have to be on the pistes to enjoy a great day in Alpe d’Huez as is has vast offerings of leisure activities like ice rally, ski doing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, tobogganing or various in-door sports in the Palais of Sports! A real highlight for all action freaks: climbing a 200 m wall in the Gorges de Sarenne - perfect for anyone looking for the ultimate thrill. In Vaujany you’ll find a leisure programme often including guided ski tours, torch-lit hikes and ice skating parties at the ice rink, and many of the activities are free. The German snowboard school "Atelier du Snowboard" is situated directly in the resort. If you book your lessons as a package with SnowTrex, you can save a lot of money in comparison to a booking on location. 52 lifts in the ski area 24 ha snowboard park including halfpipe, boardercross, freecross, 3 slide parks For cross country skiers there a 4 trails with a total length of 10 km.

Après-ski

The transition from skiing to „après-ski“ is seamless as both the apartments and the different après-ski bars are at the foot of the slopes. Many guests enjoy the end of their skiing day in the "Yorin-Bar" which is the SnowTrex bar in the Village. Already at noon the first ones "practise their turns". Before the last ones leave, it is mostly late evening. If you still havenamp;acute;t got enough, you may dance on in one of the several discotheques of Les 2 Alpes. The SnowTrex representative will organise a diversified programme, e.g. a tour through the pubs and discos and a traditional raclette evening - a real MUST! You can enjoy ice skating at the ice rink or the swimming at the swimming pool of Les 2 Alpes as the entrance is included in the lift pass.
