Description

The 3-Star-Hotel Bonavida is located in the old village centre of Canillo, just 50 m from the gondola. The hotel furnishing includes: a restaurant, a bar, lounges, a sauna, fitness possibilities and wellness offers, as well as parking (partly with surcharge) Furnishing/Board: The cosy rooms have bath, wc, telephone and TV. The German snowboard school "Atelier du Snowboard" is situated directly in the resort. If you book your lessons as a package with SnowTrex, you can save a lot of money in comparison to a booking on location. 52 lifts in the ski area 24 ha snowboard park including halfpipe, boardercross, freecross, 3 slide parks For cross country skiers there a 4 trails with a total length of 10 km.

Isère :: Alpe d'Huez

Skiing

The pistes in the skiing area of Alpe d’Huez are mainly on the south side of the mountain guaranteeing lots of sunshine. However, due to its high altitude the skiing region is very snow sure. Additionally over 700 snow making devices assure good piste conditions. The 220 kilometres of piste and the 82 lifts between the altitudes of 1120 m and 330 m are suitable for beginners as well as for experienced skiers that are looking for a challenge in the ski holidays. There is a large offer of red and black pistes around the Pic Blanc (3330 m), the Sarenne-Glacier (3060 m) and the Clocher de Macle (2800 m). The most demanding piste is the legendary Piste du Tunnel: over the Sarenne-Glacier you reach the tunnel which leads to the front of the Pic Blanc. The Sarenne, with its 16 km, is one of the longest pistes of Europe! Beginners will find great nursery slopes at the outskirts of the resort near Oz and Vaujany. Snowboarders will love it here! The fun park at the Sarenne-Glacier is only recommendable for real cracks, the fun parks at the Lac Blanc and near Auris en Oisens are not quite as demanding. With the lift pass included in the holiday price you can also access Les 2 Alpes for two days.

Après-ski

The transition from skiing to „après-ski“ is seamless as both the apartments and the different après-ski bars are at the foot of the slopes. Many guests enjoy the end of their skiing day in the "Yorin-Bar" which is the SnowTrex bar in the Village. Already at noon the first ones "practise their turns". Before the last ones leave, it is mostly late evening. If you still havenamp;acute;t got enough, you may dance on in one of the several discotheques of Les 2 Alpes. The SnowTrex representative will organise a diversified programme, e.g. a tour through the pubs and discos and a traditional raclette evening - a real MUST! You can enjoy ice skating at the ice rink or the swimming at the swimming pool of Les 2 Alpes as the entrance is included in the lift pass.

Parking in Les 2 Alpes is mostly free. 3 to 4 x per hour a free ski bus drives through Les 2 Alpes connecting the center and the village. There are regular public busses to Mont de Lans, Grenoble and to the ski area of LAlpe dHuez.
