The German snowboard school "Atelier du Snowboard" is situated directly in the resort. If you book your lessons as a package with SnowTrex, you can save a lot of money in comparison to a booking on location. 52 lifts in the ski area 24 ha snowboard park including halfpipe, boardercross, freecross, 3 slide parks For cross country skiers there a 4 trails with a total length of 10 km.

Culture

After spending a gorgeous day in one of France’s skiing regions, which have already hosted three winter Olympics (Chamonix 1924, Grenoble 1968 and Albertville 1992), you can let the day unwind enjoying the traditional French cuisine and a glass of red wine.

Isère :: Les 2 Alpes

Cross country

Les Deux Alpes provides 21 km of cross-country skiing run. Amongst these you can find a skating track and a trail suitable for dogs. The runs in the high valley are of lower difficulty and therefore ideal for enjoying the incredible winter scenery and the marvellous view of the Écrins-Massif! The high run near the „Dôme de la Lauze“ glaicer is assured of snow. If you should desire more variations just switch to the trails in the region.

Isère :: Alpe d'Huez

Cross country

Surrounding Alpe d’Huez you will find 50 kilometres of cross-country skiing run. Particularly beautiful: the panoramic trail over Poutran to l’Alpette at an altitude of 2100 m. The track leads past several mountain lakes trough beautiful winter scenery! Ambitioned skiers will enjoy the „Boucle des Lacs“ run: the longest trail in the area (20 km) goes up to a altitude of 2100 m and is a real challenge! The 13 EUR charge include the rising help.

Skiing

The fast "Jandri Express" and the metro "Dôme Express" will lift you to the glacier (3.566 m) in a few minutes. What a smashing view! Here the slopes are dividing: The experts surely will take Europes most spectacular deep snow descent towards La Grave. "Normal" skiers have the choice between several red and blue slopes. The longest one has a total length of 17 km! Really unique is the ski area for beginners. It is not, as usual, down in the valley , but "on top" at a height of nearly 3.600 m. This fact guarantees perfect snow conditions for the first turns at any time! An absolute highlight is the Snowparc on the glacier which is 240.000 m2 large and unique in Europe. It offers 2 halfpipes, a boarder-cross-track, severals jumps and other obstacles. Due to its singularity every year the "Mondial du Snowboard“ is held here. The ski pass "Les 2 Alpes" for 6 days and more is also valid for 2 days in Alpe dHuez (238 kms marked slopes) as well as for 1 day in Serre-Chevalier (250 kms), La Voie Lactée (400 kms), Oz/Vaujany (50 kms) and Puy St. Vincent (67 kms). This means you can choose amongst more than 1.200 kms of marked slopes!
